Four markets. Twenty-five years in the first one.

We concentrate where selling is technical, buyers are regulated or institutional, and the difference between a good revenue leader and a great one is whether they have sold into that buyer before. Six in ten of Brian's career placements have been in financial technology or financial services.

Where we work

Financial infrastructure

Capital markets technology, private markets software, trading communications, compliance and regulatory platforms, market data. Where Brian started, building a London search firm's US financial markets practice, and where the largest engagements of the career have been: the sales leadership and national team of 47 of a public capital-markets company through its move to SaaS; the executive bench of a PE-backed private-markets software company through a secondary buyout to a $1.3 billion exit. Most recently, the first Chief Revenue Officer of a venture-backed New York fintech whose private-markets liquidity infrastructure runs inside tier-one banks' own systems, hired as those banks went live and founder-led selling gave way to a commercial organization.

Data and enterprise AI

The data, ratings and analytics providers institutions run on, and the AI now sold alongside them: document and investment intelligence for banks, asset managers and the private-equity firms underwriting and monitoring their portfolios; AI product lines inside public data companies. For one global ratings and analytics company, the sales executives and product specialists across a decade. Elsewhere, the Head of AI Product Management for a public company's AI product line.

Computer vision

AI that secures the buildings, campuses and public spaces of enterprises and government. The second-largest body of work after financial infrastructure, across two competing vendors. For one, Brian built the Americas commercial and delivery organization, for a period from inside the company at the CEO's request, from its Series A through a $235 million round. For the other, the regional sales leadership for North America, EMEA, Latin America and Japan, and the AI product and marketing leadership beside it. The buyers differ from a bank's, but the build does not: a technical product, a long enterprise sale, and a first commercial team that has to prove the category before it can scale it.

Advertising technology

Programmatic platforms, ad measurement and the revenue software that publishers and agencies run on. For one public programmatic-advertising platform, the Chief Revenue Officer twice, at successive inflection points, and the national sales team beneath them, directors and account executives, across a decade, an acquisition and a rebrand.

Sponsor-owned platforms

Two of the largest engagements in our record were private-equity platforms. Thirty-one hires at an alternative-investment software company under two successive sponsors, through a secondary buyout to a $1.3 billion exit. The finance, people and go-to-market leadership of a sponsor-owned financial-infrastructure platform, the largest engagement of 2026. Fifteen sponsors across eleven portfolio companies. Some have brought Brian into more than one portfolio company; some have retained him directly.

Among them: Francisco Partners · Strategic Value Partners · Bridgepoint · Symphony Technology Group · Thomas H. Lee Partners · Genstar Capital · Accel-KKR · Silver Lake

Venture-backed, Series A to C

The hire that most often goes wrong at a venture-backed company is the first one the founder does not make alone: the revenue leader who takes selling out of the founder's hands. The leader who works has built pipeline where the product was still being argued into shape, and has managed a founder who was in every deal last quarter. Brian has sat on the hiring side of it, building the Americas organization of an AI company from its Series A through its largest round, part of that time from inside, and has filled it for others: the Chief Revenue Officer of a private-markets infrastructure company, the Head of Sales of a secondary-market platform, the first sales directors of a post-trade data network as it went from one buyer to many.

Thirty-eight venture-backed companies across the career. The work runs the length of the arc: a computer-vision company from its Series A through a $235 million round; a post-trade data network from its first commercial hires to a sales organization on both sides of the Atlantic; a private-markets infrastructure company from founder-led selling to its first Chief Revenue Officer.
